Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee the operational and financial performance of the food and beverage services.
- Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Bar Managers to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Manage and account for specialized client inventory.
- Promote outstanding customer service and effectively utilize all agreed communication tools to enhance sales.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of client tariffs in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Ensure all weekly menus comply with established standards and are presented accurately.
- Develop strong commercial relationships with suppliers to ensure quality service and optimal financial returns.
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and timely, including inventories and client reports.
Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain knowledge of relevant personnel policies, labor laws, and agreements.
- Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
Financial Oversight
- Act as a purchasing officer and budget overseer for the food and beverage operations.
Team Leadership
- Manage, schedule, and evaluate the performance of Team Leaders and other staff members.
- Facilitate team meetings and daily briefings to ensure effective communication.
Health and Safety Management
- Ensure training records and work documentation are maintained according to company policy.
- Report any equipment issues that may pose risks to staff or clients.
- Address client concerns promptly and effectively.
- Verify that all food safety records are checked and necessary actions are taken.
Required Experience
- Prior management experience in the food service or retail sector.
- Proficient in generating reports across various business areas.
- Exemplify leadership qualities and maintain a positive, proactive attitude.
- A background check will be necessary.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong numerical skills and effective written and verbal communication.
- Food Hygiene Certification Level 2 or 3.
- Health and Safety qualification at level 2.
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations.
