Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Renal Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at Ninewells Hospital. As a key member of our renal team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive renal care, excluding acute transplantation, to a population of approximately 450,000 across Tayside, Perth and Kinross, and North East Fife.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rotate between the renal ward, dialysis unit, outliers, and clinics, providing expert care to patients with renal conditions.
  • Participate in a 1 in 6 on-call renal rota, covering evenings and weekend days, and contribute to Hospital at Night cover on a rotational basis.
  • Collaborate with our current team of renal specialty trainees and IMTs to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Registration with the General Medical Council and a Licence to Practice.
  • Experience in renal care, with a strong understanding of renal conditions and treatment options.
