About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our Nuclear & Power business, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design and engineering packages for our key nuclear clients.

As a Civil and Structural Engineer, you will work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. Your expertise in structural design and engineering will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality design and engineering packages for key nuclear clients
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges
  • Work closely with junior engineers and designers to develop their skills and expertise
  • Integrate with the wider disciplines within the engineering group to deliver work
Requirements
  • Good Civil Structural design and engineering experience in industry
  • Excellent team player, able to collaborate effectively with market colleagues, other wider-business colleagues, and the management team
  • Experience and expertise in engineering design and substantiation, including first principles analysis, with a good knowledge of UK and International design codes and industry regulations
  • Candidates ideally to be an Incorporated Engineer or working towards chartership with a recognised institution such as the Institution of Civil Engineers and / or The Institution of Structural Engineers and hold a minimum engineering degree qualification (accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers or the Institution of Structural Engineers, or other recognised body)
