**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team at Skilled Careers. Our client, a leading structural engineering consultancy, provides civil and structural engineering services to clients across various sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and retail.

Key Responsibilities**

• Develop and prepare structural engineering documents, including design development and calculations.
• Solve complex problems related to structural engineering segments of large projects.
• Provide full structural design calculations for building regulation submissions and respond to queries.
• Communicate effectively with the design team, both internally and externally, to ensure project progress.
• Prepare reports and specifications for projects, and review structural engineering documents for code compliance.
• Develop designs from structural engineering design concept designs for medium and large projects.
• Review drawings and materials for conformance with the structural engineering design concept.
• Select suitable materials for structural engineering projects.
• Ensure projects are running to schedule and meet client expectations.

Requirements**

• BEng/MEng or equivalent qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Highly computer literate and proficient in engineering analysis software.
• Good written English skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• A MSc/MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering from a UK university.

Desirable Skills**

• Knowledge of SCIA, Masterseries, CADS.
