- Provide strategic, operational, and contractual guidance to the project team.
- Quality and Mentorship:
- Ensure quality delivery through effective planning and execution.
- Team Management:
- Lead the project team, fostering commitment, morale, and motivation at all levels.
- Promote cost-effective management by using resources efficiently.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with the client, their project management team, and the supply chain.
- Financial and Programme Management:
- Establish and monitor a cost management system for financial control and reliable reporting.
- Ensure realistic project programmes are prepared, managed, and updated as needed.
- Implement and review method statements, activity plans, and risk assessments regularly.
- Ensure commercial and financial management systems are in place for project success.
- Requirements:
- Experience as a Project Manager or Senior Agent in Civil Engineering contracting.
- Proven leadership and management capabilities.
- Detailed knowledge of civil construction and contract forms.
- Experience in construction project delivery.
