The Project Management division plays a pivotal role in our operations, serving as the primary liaison between A&P Group and our clients. This involves coordinating and streamlining all facets of projects, including planning, budget management, team coordination, and ensuring successful project execution.

We welcome applications from experienced Marine Engineers who possess in-depth knowledge of vessel intricacies and are eager to transition into Project Management, as well as from established Project Managers seeking new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate project plans and timelines, oversee project budgets, procurement processes, and resource distribution.
  • Lead the team in tracking progress, identifying potential risks, and ensuring that all work adheres to safety standards, quality benchmarks, and profitability goals.
  • Gain comprehensive familiarity with all project aspects, including specifications, tenders, and related documentation.
  • Monitor, manage, and report on project progress and financial performance to the leadership team, ensuring all issues are documented.
  • Mentor and guide Project Engineers in their roles, aiming to facilitate their career advancement towards Project Manager positions.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on marine applications or a related field.
  • Experience in ship repairs or similar environments, with a background in managing mid to large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project planning tools such as MS Project or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, risk management, and relationship management capabilities.
  • Skills in procurement and budget oversight, including data analysis, Excel proficiency, and meticulous management reporting.
  • Adept at planning and organizing, with the ability to make informed decisions to achieve objectives.
