Senior Ecologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ecologist to join our team at CV Library. As a Senior Ecologist, you will play a key role in leading various projects, conducting field surveys, assessments, and reporting, while assisting clients through the planning and licensing stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and clear communication of recommendations.
  • Manage teams, supervise team members, and collaborate with other professionals.
  • Develop proposals and uphold high-quality standards.
  • Conduct Phase 1 habitat/UKHab assessments and protected species surveys.
  • Produce written assessments, including desk studies, technical reports, PEAs, and EIAs.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in ecology required.
  • Chartered or eligible for CIEEM Associate/Full membership.
  • FISC Level 4 certification or higher.
  • BNG assessment experience.
  • Protected species licence (especially Level 2 bat licence).
