NHS Professionals Limited is seeking a dedicated and proactive laboratory support technician to join our Pathology Reception team. This role is essential in providing assistance to the Blood Sciences laboratory across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Receiving specimens and accurately entering patient and test information into the Pathology information system.
  • Preparing specimens for Chemical Pathology and Haematology Laboratories, as well as coordinating the dispatch of samples to external laboratories.
  • Collaborating closely with registered biomedical scientists to adhere to standard operating procedures and effectively communicate with clinical and nursing staff as necessary.
