Job Description

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Project & Programme Services team. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering our net zero carbon retrofit advisory services to clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement net zero carbon strategies for clients, including baseline operational carbon assessments and roadmaps for Scope 1 and 2 operational carbons.
  • Conduct site visits to audit buildings and establish technology feasibility, and develop and report on baseline and roadmaps through workshops, written reports, and dashboard outputs.
  • Develop lasting, long-term partnerships with client organisations, and upskill junior colleagues in relevant aspects of technical, commercial, and client areas.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver client briefs, and develop proposed scopes of work, fee models, and proposals in response to ITTs or client briefs.
Requirements:
  • Experience in baselining Scope 1 and 2 operational carbon emissions, and developing net zero carbon strategies for clients.
  • Strong understanding of building physics, and knowledge of technologies and approaches that can be used to enhance building performance.
  • Experience carrying out high-level energy audits of sites to understand energy use and feasible energy saving measures.
  • Knowledgeable regarding relevant standards, benchmarks, and guidance, such as UKGBC, CIBSE, LETI, and CRREM.
  • Ability to be flexible and to be able to multi-task and prioritise when necessary, and excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
