Border to Coast Pensions Partnership is seeking an experienced Investment Professional to join our External Managed investment team. As an Associate Portfolio Manager, you will play a key role in the design, launch, and ongoing management of our externally managed fund propositions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead eight to ten manager relationships and conduct due diligence and ongoing monitoring on selected strategies.
- Undertake granular research to understand the key drivers of risk and opportunities within each portfolio.
- Work closely with portfolio managers and feed into Tactical Asset Allocation processes across both equity and fixed income.
- Conduct existing manager due diligence and feed insight into strategic and dynamic asset allocation forums.
- Investment Management qualification (such as CFA) and four to six years relevant experience in manager research and oversight.
- Relevant experience in the due diligence of external manager capabilities, preferably in Equities, Fixed Income, or both.
- Strong interest and understanding of asset classes and economic fundamentals.
- Excellent relationship management skills and ability to take the initiative.
