About the Role

We're committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported. As a Driver Safety and Compliance Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our drivers and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support stores and customer fulfillment centers in training and retaining top-performing delivery drivers.
  • Coach stores and centers on best practices in domestic driving legislation and road traffic law, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
  • Develop and implement safer driving techniques based on identified risks, promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Collaborate with the team to engage all business partners, including stores, customer fulfillment centers, and group teams, to deliver a safe, efficient, and compliant operation.
  • Work closely with the Customer Fulfillment Support Manager to drive continuous improvement and achieve corporate metrics.
  • Build capability within the team, stores, and customer fulfillment centers by coaching and training colleagues to enhance their operational skills and knowledge.
  • Plan and support stores and centers to deliver Dotcom seasonal events and changes to trading patterns, minimizing disruptions to service and operations.
  • Support the delivery of change and corporate projects, including customer service initiatives, in line with the business plan.
  • Optimize budgets and maintain a cost-conscious approach.
Requirements
  • Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) or Fleet Registered certification is desirable but not essential.
  • Clear understanding of Dotcom processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of domestic driving legislation and road traffic law.
  • Customer management and change management experience.
  • Retail or customer fulfillment experience.
