About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, identifying potential risks and taking appropriate action to prevent complications.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.

Person Specification:
- A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Critical Care nursing environment within a hospital in the last 3 years.
- Statement of NMC Registration.
- Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
