We are a thriving rooftop bar and restaurant in Hackney, London, specializing in serving high-quality pizzas to our discerning customers. As a result of our continued growth and success, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pizza making, with a focus on Neapolitan-style pizzas. They will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen, as well as managing the food ordering and stock control processes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensuring that all food handling and preparation procedures are followed to the highest standards.
- Food Ordering and Stock Control: Managing the ordering and receipt of ingredients, as well as maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Daily Dough Preparation: Preparing dough daily for service the following day, using a 24-hour fermentation process.
- Team Management: Supervising and training other kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Performance Reporting: Preparing weekly reports for the General Manager on kitchen performance and areas for improvement.
