The RoleWe are seeking a motivated and driven Transportation Planner to join our Gas team in a key location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and optimizing transportation routes to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
- Manage driver hours, start and finish times, and route optimization to ensure compliance with regulations
- Coordinate with third-party sub-contractors to ensure seamless logistics operations
- Process departmental documentation and drivers' paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
- Experience in a similar role with a global logistics company
