Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Junior Lawyer to join our client's dynamic Clinical Negligence team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals handling a variety of clinical negligence cases and contributing to the firm's growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of clinical negligence matters from inception to resolution, ensuring high-quality service to clients.
  • Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with developments in clinical negligence law to provide informed and up-to-date advice.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases and addressing any concerns.
  • Work closely with senior lawyers and partners within the clinical negligence department, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in clinical negligence law.
  • A strong desire to contribute to the growth and success of the clinical negligence department and the firm as a whole.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to the firm's culture.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
