About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Character Artist to join our team at Sharkmob. As a key member of our Character Team, you will be responsible for creating and developing AAA quality characters and creatures that bring our worlds to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a consistent visual direction for our characters, working closely with the Art Director and Concept Artists.
  • Lead a team of Character artists to drive innovation and excellence in character art.
  • Collaborate with the Tech teams to define and maintain Character content pipelines and work.
  • Communicate effectively with the production team to inform project timelines and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Continuously develop your own skills and the skills of those around you, staying up-to-date with modern toolsets and techniques.
Requirements
  • At least one AAA game shipped from end-to-end as a Senior or Lead Character Artist.
  • Experience leading a team of Character artists.
  • Proven character art experience on current-gen platforms.
  • Deep understanding of modern toolsets and techniques.
  • Comfortable working with other disciplines to define character content pipelines.
  • Passion for creating and playing games.
