Job Title: Building Officer - Part Time Evenings and Saturday Morning

Join our team as a Building Officer and contribute to the smooth operation of our busy centre in Redhill. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient running of all services and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building Operations: Open and close the centre, ensuring the safety of the area and adhering to procedures.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed, including fire evacuation, safety of facility users, and assisting with accidents.
  • Safeguarding: Follow safeguarding policy to protect vulnerable adults and young people.
  • Facilities Management: Set up/down rooms for hire, check equipment, and ensure it is safe to use.
  • Reception Duties: Assist with reception duties, including taking payments, answering visitor enquiries, and promoting services.
  • Administration: Complete food safety and hygiene checks, maintain records, and deal with any incidents.
  • Support Services: Support teams who run services in the centre and act as concierge as necessary.
Requirements:
  • DBS Disclosure: Enhanced DBS disclosure required.
  • Training: Attend relevant internal/external meetings and forums related to CYP services activities.
  • Commitment: Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults.
