Supply Chain Planner Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the supply chain to ensure timely delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an integrated production and delivery strategy to minimize lead times and costs.
  • Analyze supply chain risks and costs to inform management decisions.
  • Plan, schedule, and expedite production of finished goods from overseas suppliers to achieve on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve lead times.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of supplier capacities and product lead times to ensure accurate planning and maximize supplier efficiency.
  • Provide key support to sales teams by advising on product availability and expediting deliveries.
  • Make recommendations for performance improvement and implement changes to maintain and increase competitiveness.
  • Update systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date logistics information is available at all times.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a planner or similar role.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
