We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Podiatrist to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients with complex high-risk foot conditions and providing mentorship to the rest of the team.
Main Responsibilities- Provide Expert Podiatry Care: The post holder will be responsible for delivering high-quality podiatry services to patients with complex foot conditions, including wound care, vascular assessment, and offloading.
- Manage Caseload: The post holder will be required to manage their own caseload, which will include providing specialist care for patients with diabetes and other complex conditions.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team: The post holder will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including vascular and diabetes specialists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Develop and Implement Care Programs: The post holder will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized care programs for patients with complex foot conditions.
- Support Podiatry Manager: The post holder will provide support to the Podiatry Manager by undertaking management and leadership responsibilities appropriate to the band.

Person Specification- Essential Qualifications: Degree in Podiatry, HCPC registration, and professional knowledge gained through postgraduate degree modules.
- Desirable Qualifications: Membership of the Royal College of Podiatists, relevant Masters module.
- Essential Experience: MDT working, good organizational skills, IT skills, ability to negotiate and influence, ability to work independently, and ability to handle sensitive situations.
