Job Title: Senior Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service based in Inverness Community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service, providing clinical expertise and leadership to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for clients with complex needs, including those with drug and alcohol dependence.
  • Provide supervision and support to junior staff within the service, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Inner Moray Firth area, including GP Practices, Mental Health Services, and other Drug and Alcohol Teams.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring that they are evidence-based and aligned with best practice.

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience working in the field of Drug and Alcohol.
  • Experience of working in a community setting is preferred.
  • Full current driving licence and use of car for work purposes is essential.
