R&D Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Group R&D Director to lead our company's R&D operations, driving innovation and excellence across our global organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive R&D strategy, aligning with our company's overall business goals and objectives.
- R&D Operations: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of R&D projects, ensuring timely, within-budget, and to-specification results.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Technology Group leadership teams, and external partners to drive collaboration and achieve business objectives.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce time to market, maintain traceability, and minimize risk.
- Talent Development: Develop and implement ongoing training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge, ensuring our R&D teams remain competitive and innovative.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role driving R&D operations at a strategic level.
- R&D Expertise: Strong understanding of fast-paced R&D design processes, ongoing engineering changes, and new product introduction (NPI), with a solid grasp of fundamental engineering principles.
- Commercial Acumen: Commercial acumen, with the ability to balance priorities for maximum impact and alignment with broader business needs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaborator with experience managing stakeholders across domestic and international operations, with exceptional communication, networking, and influencing skills.
