We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Work Based Learning Tutor to join our team at The Sheffield College. As a Work Based Learning Tutor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare science by developing and delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for our students.
Working closely with our experienced team of NHS and College Healthcare professionals, you will be responsible for implementing continuous improvement strategies and measures to meet the demands of employers in providing a high-quality teaching and learning experience. This will involve conducting regular reviews and updates of the curriculum to ensure relevance and compliance with accreditation standards.
You will also provide academic and pastoral support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Additionally, you will facilitate career development and progression opportunities for students within the healthcare sector, working collaboratively with colleagues, employers, and industry partners to enhance the learning experience and employability of students.
Key Responsibilities- Programme Development and Delivery
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of the curriculum to ensure relevance and compliance with accreditation standards.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Facilitate career development and progression opportunities for students within the healthcare sector
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, employers, and industry partners to enhance the learning experience and employability of students
- TAQA Assessor qualification or willingness to work towards
- Ability to innovate and adapt to changing educational and industry landscapes
