At Lawes Consulting Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Specialist to join our team. As a Commercial Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, building relationships, and providing professional advice on new and existing commercial insurance risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal with new and existing commercial insurance risks, including motor, property, EL, PL, commercial combined, business interruption, etc.
  • Provide quotations and renewals, deal with MTA's, market submission, presentations, etc.
  • Work independently, with the wider team, and alongside Account Executives.
  • Attend networking and conference events.
  • Build strong insurer and client relationships.
  • Ensure Acturis records remain compliant and up to date.
  • Work with clients to design and tailor bespoke insurance programmes to match their commercial insurance needs.

Requirements:

  • Track record of handling commercial insurance risks in excess of £10,000 income.
  • Solid understanding of products including motor, property, EL, PL, business interruption, haulage, PI, etc.
  • Confident in building relationships and negotiating with insurers and clients.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Acturis experience would be preferred but not essential.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to time-manage.
