Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and reliable HGV drivers on behalf of our clients. As a Class 1 driver, you will have the opportunity to work with leading companies in the transportation sector. If you are an experienced driver looking for work in the area on an ad-hoc or ongoing basis, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety and Compliance: Safely operate HGV vehicles in compliance with all UK laws and regulations.
- Delivery and Collection: Complete scheduled deliveries and collections in a timely manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Carry out vehicle checks, ensuring vehicle roadworthiness and reporting any defects.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods as required, working within health and safety guidelines.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service on behalf of the client.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV license
- Experience in operating HGV vehicles
- Good knowledge of UK laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
