Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the assembly and dispatch of products.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming goods to ensure accuracy in quantity, type, and quality.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy storage area.
  • Keep records current in the Asset Management System.
  • Update and manage the asset catalogue effectively.
  • Collaborate with Campaign Managers, Field Support Managers, suppliers, and transport services.
  • Coordinate with couriers for the timely dispatch and delivery of items.
  • Handle loading and unloading of goods from company and third-party vehicles.
  • Organize items for picking and packing, ensuring accurate updates to the stock system.
  • Document any pallet movements and adjust stock records accordingly.
  • Generate delivery notes and consignment labels using supplier portals.
  • Operate company vehicles as required.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Provide coverage for the Team Leader in their absence.
  • Assist the Team Leader in training and developing junior staff members.
  • Be flexible with working hours, including weekends.
  • Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
  • Familiarity with material and stock management techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Adherence to standard operating procedures and a methodical work approach.
  • Physical fitness to lift and move heavy items.
  • Capability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Outlook, and stock tracking software).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated reliability and a proactive, organized approach.
  • Forklift Counterbalance License.
  • Valid Full Driving License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NVQ in Warehousing and Storage.
  • PAT Certificate and relevant experience.
  • General DIY skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range: £24,000 to £26,000 gross per annum.

Annual leave: 23 days, increasing to 30 days with tenure.
