Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Human Engineering. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of specific projects and work scopes, working in a variety of environments and on a range of equipment worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the delivery of projects encompassing hydraulic system surveys, installation, and commissioning, including control system upgrades and crane load protection systems.
  • Support the hydraulics and field service team as required, providing technical guidance and mentoring to engineers.
  • Prepare technical documents, procedures, work packs, and risk assessments, as well as survey and breakdown reports.
  • Lead high-level reviews to ensure project work packs contain all relevant instructions, procedures, and drawings.
  • Involve in the build and test of new build/upgrade projects, preparing certification packs and manuals.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems on cranes.
  • Appreciation of electrical/automation & control disciplines.
  • Good technical writing skills and proficient use of MS Office applications.
  • Mechanical or hydraulic apprenticeship or similar.
  • Level 1 and 2 hydraulics training programs.
