Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Editor to join our team at Informa PLC. As an Assistant Editor - Digital Hubs, you will play a key role in supporting the management of our online resources and contributing to the development of engaging content for our digital hubs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support content production, development, and promotion on our digital hubs, working closely with the Senior Editor and other team members.
  • Assist with the management of our online resources, ensuring the quality and consistency of content produced and commissioned.
  • Write news, interviews, and produce other multimedia content to engage our audience.
  • Deploy and develop content management, communication, and editorial skills to support the growth and development of our digital hubs.
  • Work with the entire digital team to share best practices in content and community management, sharing ideas for development and problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level in life sciences, biochemistry, or chemistry.
  • Active personal interest in sciences.
  • Relevant experience in publishing, medical communications, content production, or journalism.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creativity and genuine curiosity for the industry.
  • Experience with problem-solving, initiating debate, and ensuring ideas are explored and implemented if appropriate.
  • Experience with podcast production and editing is desirable.
  • Excellent team-working skills, drive for results, and self-starter attitude.
  • Strong independent time management and ability to prioritize own workload to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
