About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Mobile Engineer to join our team at Dalkia UK, covering commercial sites in the Hertford and Cambridge area. As an Electrical Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive and emergency breakdown tasks, and ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to commercial settings throughout the Cambridge and Hertford area to carry out maintenance and repairs
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and carry out repairs in a timely and efficient manner
- Conduct inspections, fault finding, and diagnosis to identify and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate records and log books to track maintenance and repairs
- Work with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical maintenance
Requirements
- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical or equivalent qualification
- Commercial building maintenance experience in a customer-facing environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including overtime
