Job Role
  • Manage the daily operations of the catering service, ensuring the safe and efficient preparation and serving of meals.
  • Supervise a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality food production.
  • Coordinate with the school administration to plan and execute catering events and functions.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and supplies to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and school policies.

Working Pattern
Part-time (can be done as a job share): 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday during term time, plus 5 INSET days.

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced catering professional to join our team at Chorlton High School. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a catering team, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
