Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Winsearch. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance, modification, and improvement of equipment in our manufacturing facility to maximize productivity and minimize costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and undertake the maintenance, modification, and improvement of equipment in the manufacturing facility.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize equipment and facility productivity at minimum cost.
  • Manage and supervise a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the effective maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Factory Manager to develop and implement capital asset installation projects.
  • Manage and order engineering spares to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance.
  • Develop and implement electrical control systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar role.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
  • Qualified through time-served experience or a qualification to work on food production equipment.
  • Good knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
  • Minimum of 16th Edition qualification.
  • Experience with PPMs and preventive maintenance.
