Shoreham Port is a dynamic and complex engineering environment that operates 24/7, 365 days a year. The Engineering Team plays a critical role in maintaining the port's critical infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Engineering Team with planned and reactive maintenance, adhering to the Port's Health & Safety policies.
  2. Perform a range of tasks, including:
  3. Mechanical maintenance, such as welding and hydraulic equipment repair.
  4. Plumbing, including leak detection and repair, and installation of taps and sanitary ware.
  5. Building maintenance, including excavation, brickwork, and fencing.
  6. Carpentry, including fendering, window installation, and basic formwork.
  7. Act as an Ambassador for the Engineering Team, representing the team across the Port estate.
