Essential Pharma is seeking a highly experienced MSAT Director to lead our manufacturing and supply chain operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of our business strategy, managing relationships with CMO partners, and overseeing the tech transfer of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the MSAT team, driving projects forward and working with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals.
  • Develop departmental strategy for tech transfer within portfolio optimization.
  • Provide overall accountability for the tech transfer process and support due diligence of target assets identified by M&A for potential acquisition.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Provide ongoing technical support, addressing process deviations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain process control strategies to ensure product consistency.
  • Manage budgets and resource allocation.

What We're Looking For

  • Sciences degree in a relevant field (pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, biochemistry or similar)
  • Proven leadership experience of small teams and partner management of CMOs / CDMOs.
  • Extensive pharmaceutical industry experience with biologics and/or small molecule manufacturing.
  • Strong background in driving process development and technology transfer working with partners to ensure project milestones are delivered in line with company strategy.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
