Position: Clinical Speech and Language Specialist
Location: Various settings within the South West region
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Employment Type: Permanent, Term Time Only, 41 weeks per year
Compensation: Up to £50,056 FTE, based on experience
Actual salary may reach up to £44,857, depending on qualifications.
Requirements: Valid UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle
Role Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Speech and Language Specialist to become part of our expanding in-house Clinical Team, which includes occupational therapists, psychotherapists, and therapy assistants. You will be responsible for delivering customized assessment and intervention strategies for the children we serve.
Your responsibilities will include managing a caseload of speech and language therapy clients, collaborating closely with our experienced Clinical Team, and contributing to staff training and consultation. This position is both challenging and fulfilling, ideal for a resilient and enthusiastic professional with a creative therapeutic approach and strong decision-making skills. Additionally, you will provide essential information and training to staff, commissioners, and other relevant agencies.

Essential Qualifications:
- BSc or Masters in Speech and Language Therapy
- Registered with the HCPC and RCSLT
- Experience in multi-disciplinary team settings
- Experience working with children, young people, and adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, including those with complex needs
- Experience in educational environments
- Valid UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle
