Injection Moulding Toolmaker Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Toolmaker to join our busy Tool Room in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the on-time and accurate delivery of tools to meet tooling programmes safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manufacturing, maintaining, and repairing/refurbishing plastic mould tools to a high-quality standard.
  • Fault finding, tool approval, and modification of new and existing tooling.
  • Attending machine/tooling breakdowns to identify the root cause and solve the problem.

As a Night Shift Toolmaker, you will be working independently to ensure cell targets for delivery, quality, and efficiency are met. You will also be responsible for leading the shift, taking responsibility for repairs, and handing over to the oncoming shift.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Injection Moulding Toolmaking.
  • Excellent fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Leadership skills to manage the night shift.
