Childrens Residential Deputy Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at our new short breaks home in Mountsorrel, Leicestershire. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative team, delivering a range of children's homes for vulnerable young people. Our new short breaks home will provide up to 3 service users at any one time with opportunities to enjoy different experiences, establish friendships and develop confidence, independence and social/emotional skills.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service
- Ensure the highest standards of care and support for our young people
- Work closely with the team to deliver a high-quality service
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Participate in staff training and development
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 qualification relevant to Residential Childcare
- At least 1 year supervisory and shift leader experience in a children's residential setting
- Knowledge and experience of working with OFSTED regulations
- Ability to work towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People's services
