Job Summary:

GCH is seeking a skilled Customer Relationship Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and support to customers via various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and timely manner, using problem-solving skills and autonomy to find suitable solutions.
  • Work closely with colleagues to provide advice and signposting to information, ensuring customers receive the best possible service.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of housing and property management, including tenancy, repairs, and neighborhood management.
  • Utilize computer software, including Microsoft Office packages, housing, and CRM systems, as well as call handling software, to efficiently manage customer interactions.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a customer-facing call center environment, preferably within the social housing sector.
  • Proven ability to diagnose issues and facilitate solutions, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent problem-solving and complaints resolution skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Strong understanding of housing and property management, including tenancy, repairs, and neighborhood management.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office packages, housing, and CRM systems, as well as call handling software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant technical housing qualification, such as a level 3 diploma in Housing Management.
