Steel Erector

We are seeking skilled Steel Erectors to join our client, the largest structural steelwork company in the UK, on the prestigious Hinkley Point C project in Somerset.

• Erect steel on site, following supervision direction
• Fix and bolt steel
• Mark out steel work
• Cut steel where required
• Operate construction equipment and machinery
• Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
• Offload wagons safely
• Assemble and disassemble temporary structures

• ECITB Diploma in Erecting Engineering Construction Capital Plant Steel Structures or Engineering Construction Lifting, Positioning and Installing Structures, Plant and Equipment
• ECITB Skills Test Alternative or Skills Test Number: TER03 or TER04
• ACE Card
• CSCS Gold Card for Steel Erector Level 3 Diploma Advanced Craftsman
• Current IPAF certificate
• CPCS Telescopic Handler A17C certificate (advantageous)
