Shift Engineering Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Engineering Manager to join our client, a leading business in the food industry. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering and maintenance activities during the shift to ensure smooth and efficient operation of all machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless production and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of engineering projects and upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, equipment performance, and any incidents.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with colleagues and the production team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in engineering and maintenance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
  • A Monday to Friday working schedule, with bank holidays off.
