Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of financial and audit projects, ensuring adherence to internal standards and maintaining the highest quality of service.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional development through constructive feedback and performance management.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, handling budgeting, fee negotiations, and addressing any complex financial issues that may arise during engagements.
  • Engagement Delivery: Manage all facets of financial and audit service delivery, including setting timelines, conducting team briefings, and facilitating reviews by senior staff.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare detailed financial and audit proposals for potential clients, showcasing our capabilities and expertise.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting and auditing standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with the FCA Handbook is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience in utilizing proprietary software for managing audit workflows and documentation.
  • A proven track record in managing an audit and accounting portfolio, including the ability to identify key audit risks and formulate appropriate responses.
  • Demonstrated professional skepticism in executing audit engagements.
