About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Shop Manager to join our team in Worcester. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in driving sales and achieving our charity's goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with managing all shop activities and achieving set targets
  • Oversee and manage a team of volunteers, providing training and support as needed
  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the shop, ensuring it meets agreed income and expenditure targets
  • Manage accounting procedures, including cash reconciliation, daily banking, and till procedures
Requirements
  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a management role
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Highly self-motivated, positive, and resilient individual
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of people
  • Confidence working well on own initiative
