Concrete Craftsperson

Company Overview: Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent concrete casting firm to find a dedicated Concrete Finisher for a temporary to permanent role.

Position Summary: We are seeking an individual with a solid background in concrete finishing, who is ready to contribute to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspecting and preparing concrete forms.
• Mixing concrete according to specified guidelines.
• Setting up and aligning forms accurately.
• Utilizing specialized equipment to spread, level, and smooth concrete.
• Assessing weather conditions and their impact on concrete work.
• Assisting in the pouring of concrete.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in a concrete casting environment (wet or dry).
• Ability to perform manual labor effectively.
• Desire for a long-term career opportunity.
• Familiarity with hand-held and power tools, including vibrators, polishers, cutting saws, and edging tools.
• Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ranging from £11.75 to £13.50, based on experience.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with flexible shift discussions during the interview process.
