Key Responsibilities:

  • As an access equipment technician, you will respond to site breakdowns, performing maintenance, servicing, and repairs on various plant and access platforms, including cherry pickers and scissor lifts.
  • Address all technical issues reported concerning hire equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations as per company standards.
  • Manage administrative tasks and accurately complete all service and repair documentation.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in roles such as access equipment technician, access platform engineer, plant engineer, or similar positions.
  • Hands-on experience with plant and powered access machinery, including brands like Genie, JLG, Niftylift, JCB, Kubota, or CAT.
  • Possession of an NVQ or City and Guilds qualification in plant maintenance or mechanical engineering is essential.
  • Ideally, you will hold an IPAF license and a valid UK driving license.
  • Having a CAP license would be an advantage.
