De Lacy Executive Limited is on the lookout for a versatile Nutrition Specialist dedicated to enhancing the health and productivity of livestock.
With over four decades of experience, our client has established itself as a pioneer in the development of high-quality feeds tailored for pigs and game birds, securing a prominent position in the industry.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pig nutrition, be proficient in using Best Mix software, and stay updated on legislative changes. Effective communication with the sales team, veterinarians, and occasionally directly with farmers is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing mineral quotes for pigs and ruminants
- Pricing and configuring manufactured products using Best Mix formulation software or equivalent
- Updating formulas and labels in accordance with legislation changes
- Creating product labels for piglet and game feeds
- Assisting in the integration of new raw materials and manufactured products into the system
- Formulating rations for on-farm pig diets and associated minerals
- Collaborating with veterinarians and sales teams
Requirements:
- A degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
- Capability to manage workload independently
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Strong ICT proficiency
- Meticulous attention to detail and numerical accuracy
The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary along with 33 days of holiday (including bank holidays) and a holiday buy-back scheme.
