Job Description

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to join our client's team in Edinburgh. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for leading the architecture and design of data services, as well as developing innovative data solutions to meet the technical business needs and drive the adoption of data analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and design of data services, including the implementation of data and integration platforms using technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, and Azure ecosystems.
  • Develop and maintain high-level models that can be reused in future analysis to extend and mature the enterprise data architecture.
  • Collaborate with the CTO and Management Teams to develop and deliver digital, data, and integration technologies strategies.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to improve data quality and develop data analytics solutions.
  • Apply architectural principles to solutions, using data requirements to visualize and create high-level models.

Requirements:

  • Recognized as a top-level expert with significant in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in the data domain.
  • Demonstrable experience with cloud-based data and integration platform capabilities.
  • Capable of applying architectural principles to solutions, with key data requirements to help visualize and create high-level models.
  • Experience of data analytics, data integration technologies, and using data visualization.
  • Experience of defining, through a variety of tools and techniques, data modeling and governance capabilities.
  • Proven track record of success in large-scale IT organizations and transformation projects.
