Location: Inverness

Contract Type: Temporary ongoing leading to perm role

Pay Rate: £13.42 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Van Driver to join our team in Inverness. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering post and parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and collect post and parcels at the local delivery office
  • Use a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries
  • Deliver letters and parcels, with parcels weighing up to 20kg
  • Drive and walk to deliver items, and push/pull a trolley during deliveries

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points
  • Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices

Working Conditions:

As a Delivery Van Driver, you will be working outdoors in all weathers, so you must be comfortable working in a variety of conditions.
