Job Title: Industrial Door Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Door Engineer to join our team at TDRS. As an Industrial Door Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of automatic doors and industrial doors.

Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and maintaining automatic doors and industrial doors to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Repairing electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment related to automatic doors and industrial doors.
  • Providing customers with advice and identifying the best solution to their individual requirements.
  • Working with industry standards such as BS EN 16005 and DHF to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • Experience working for an EN 16005 recognised automatic door company.
  • Experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of automatic door systems.
  • A valid EN 16005 certificate, or at least have held one in the past.
  • A clean driving license.
  • A CSCS Card.
What We Offer:
  • Hourly rate up to £20 per hour depending on experience and location.
  • Top earners bringing in over £70,000 per annum.
  • Home-based, door to door pay.
  • Premium overtime rates at 1.5x after 9.5 hours per day; travel time is considered overtime.
  • Saturdays paid at 1.5; Sundays paid at 2.0.
  • Commission scheme (average earnings £3,000 per year).
  • All power tools and hand tools provided.
  • Brand new professionally racked company van - personal use optional.
  • Mobile phone and tablet provided.
Training and Development:

Engineers will be put through DHF Gate Diploma, DHF Door Diploma, and IPAF to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their role.
