Nurse Position in Scrub/Scout Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Hunter Valley Private Hospital.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our Scrub/Scout Unit. This will involve:
- Providing evidence-based nursing care to patients
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Ensuring patient and staff safety through effective risk management
- Supervising and guiding nursing team members to deliver patient care
- Delivering education and support to patients and their families to promote health and well-being
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Post-graduate certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)
- Working with Children check
- Commitment to quality patient care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
