Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Systems Technician to join our dynamic team at Options Resourcing Ltd. This role is essential for ensuring the effective installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within a healthcare setting.

Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 12-hour shifts, 4 on 4 off, days only from 09:00 to 21:00, with participation in an on-call rota and potential for overtime.

Salary: Competitive salary of £40,131, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Specialized Healthcare Technical Memorandum (SHTM), Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), and Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Supervise and guide Craft or Operative Maintenance Assistants, leading a small team as required.
  • Implement principles of industrial and commercial system installations and protection measures.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of company policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Electrically qualified (C&G or NVQ Level 3) or equivalent in a relevant electrical discipline.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar role within a healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of engineering building services installation and maintenance techniques.
  • Commitment to personal development and training in high-risk disciplines.
