About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to further develop their career within the community mental health setting, as part of an established, supportive team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities

The successful applicant will identify service users with occupational needs, provide assessment and delivery of individual and group treatment intervention, and have the opportunity to develop both clinical and leadership training.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver assessment and treatment intervention within the locality mental health teams.
  • Provide supervision for unregistered staff and facilitate student education placements.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the needs of service users.

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.

Essential Knowledge

  • Working with individuals with mental health problems.

Essential Skills

  • Delivery of a variety of therapeutic interventions.
