Your Role
As a Senior Process Scientist in Water Treatment, you will play a pivotal role within our Water Treatment Process team. Your primary responsibility will be to offer technical guidance and support for our critical surface water treatment facilities. You will monitor and assess process performance, ensuring we consistently deliver high-quality water to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the performance of Water Treatment Works and engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing water quality.
- Collaborate with Process Design Engineers to define and implement new capital projects that improve operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Lead investigations into water quality issues, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Conduct audits related to the Drinking Water Safety Plan (DWSP) and support the implementation of necessary improvements.
- Deliver training and develop standards for on-site testing and process knowledge enhancement.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in water treatment processes and demonstrate the ability to devise effective solutions. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential, as you will interact with various stakeholders at different levels. A degree in a scientific discipline and comprehensive technical knowledge of water treatment processes are required.
